Welcome
from Pastor Judi Huseth I began ministry
with St. Paul in May of 2006, joining my husband Terry, Vice-President
for Agricultural Lending at Sauk Valley Bank in Sterling. I have
been a pastor since 1983, having received degrees from the University
of Texas, Austin (BBA in accounting/1977) and from Wartburg Theological
Seminary (Master of Divinity/1983 and Master’s Degree in Sacred
Theology /1995).
My family includes a son, David, who lives in Austin, TX; and three
daughters: Michele_(Dave)_Thompson in Stoughton, WI, Heather_(Jim)_Adams
in Brookfield, WI, and Alyssa_Huseth in Janesville, WI.
My main interests in ministry include meaningful and inclusive worship
as well as pastoral care and spiritual direction, which I describe
as accompanying people in their journeys of faith through the passages
of life. |

The
Congregation
Members of our congregation are from thoughout the Sauk Valley Area
in northwest Illinois; including Sterling, Rock Falls, Morrison,
Polo and Dixon.
Our congregation is inter-woven in many ways. In 2007 to symbolize
this, each member of the church was offered the opportunity to place
a "weave" in a banner. This resulted in two banners over
20 feet long! Our congregation members come from all walks of life.
We are woven together in the Body of Christ as the Body of Christ.
To God be the Glory!
