Welcome
from Pastor Judi Huseth I began ministry
with St. Paul in May of 2006, joining my husband Terry, Vice-President
for Agricultural Lending at Sauk Valley Bank in Sterling. I have
been a pastor since 1983, having received degrees from the University
of Texas, Austin (BBA in accounting/1977) and from Wartburg Theological
Seminary (Master of Divinity/1983 and Master’s Degree in Sacred
Theology /1995).
My family includes a son, David, who lives in Austin, TX; and three
daughters: Michele (Dave) Thompson in Stoughton, WI, Heather (Jim)
Adams in Brookfield, WI, and Alyssa Huseth in Janesville, WI.
My main interests in ministry include meaningful and inclusive worship
as well as pastoral care and spiritual direction, which I describe
as accompanying people in their journeys of faith through the passages
of life. |

Brenda
Sisson - Associate in Ministry
I have been serving St. Paul Lutheran church since 2001. After sensing
God’s call to professional ministry, I studied at Luther Seminary,
St. Paul, MN and Wartburg Theological Seminary, Dubuque, IA. I was
commissioned as an Associate in Ministry in October 2006 and was
called to serve this congregation in January 2007 in the area of
Children, Youth & Family Ministry.
I’ve been married to my husband, Mark, for 19 years. We have
three active children- Mallory, Connor and Trevor, who are in middle
school and high school and live at home with us. Mark is the owner
of Sisson Lawn & Landscape.
It is a joy and privilege to help parents and youth grow in faith.
At St. Paul’s, we have a wonderful "Stepping Stones program"
where parents and children come together to learn as they move along
the faith journey. Middle school and High school youth are eager
to come to youth events each month where we learn, serve, play and
usually eat a lot of food! Please come and join us. All are welcome! |

The
Congregation
Our congregation is inter-woven in many ways. In 2007 to symbolize
this, each member of the church was offered the opportunity to place
a "weave" in a banner. This resulted in two banners over
20 feet long! Our congregation members come from all walks of life.
We are woven together in the Body of Christ as the Body of Christ.
To God be the Glory!
