St. Paul’s Stained Glass Windows
The sanctuary at St. Paul has a rich history filled with many architectural elements. One of the most intriguing is our array of stained glass windows on each side of the pews, at the choir loft and the back wall as you leave the sanctuary. They are all quite stunning but, more importantly, very meaningful.
They were installed in the Fall of 1965. They were made (in Germany) by the Conrad Pickel Studio of New Berlin, Wisconsin. The windows are chronologically arranged. The Old Testament is portrayed on the east wall and the New Testament is portrayed on the west wall. The choir loft is backed by a large set of stained glass windows.
As you leave the church you will also see the large Resurrection window at the back of the church. This is a reminder to us, as we go out into the World, the sacrifice our Savior made for us and the salvation that awaits us.
