September

From Brenda’s Desk…
Summer is going by very fast! It won’t be long before we
will see schools supplies in the stores! I have been very busy
working on the programs for the next school year at St. Paul.
There will be some exciting changes in September!
The Christian Education committee has worked hard together and
voted to return to our Workshop Rotation model of Sunday school.
“JOURNEYLAND” will return and be enhanced with a new
scheduling model that gives children even more options for learning
and growing! Adults are needed for lesson leaders and guides.
Consider helping won’t you?
The Confirmation and High school youth groups will be introduced
to a new concept – mentoring. I’m seeking adults who
have a heart for youth and would be willing to spend a small amount
of time together in conversation with a youth throughout the school
year. Studies show that youth who have adults (in addition to
parents) who care for them are more likely to be successful in
many areas of their lives. Would you consider being a mentor?
I’m sure that God will bless these relationships in many
ways. Please call me for more info.
In Christ,
Brenda Sisson, A.I.M.
